Note that bird recognition is secondary to becoming a TBO volunteer. Also, the tasks assigned during bird banding will depend on the time and the number of birds captured (the priority being the good health of the birds). Finally, for technical reasons, we request a minimum of 14 days of volunteering for people with little or no experience handling birds. Transport
We provide accommodation as part of our projects. For our projects at the Cap-Tourmente NWA (45 minutes from Quebec) our places are limited and we encourage carpooling. People living more than 1 hour away or coming for a period of more than 2 weeks will be prioritized.
